Donald Keller
Donald has spent most of his working life in accounting education at the university level.
He has a B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Arizona, an M.S. degree in
accounting from San Diego State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Southern
California. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.
In addition to university teaching and administration positions, he worked in Los Angeles
for Arthur Young & Co, CPAs, in New York City for 9 years with the American Institute
of CPAs and the Institute of Management Accounts. He has been active in many
community, professional, and social organizations. Currently he is serving as treasurer of
three organizations including the San Marcos Educational Foundation. He lives with his
wife, Rose Ann, in Lake San Marcos, California, and is an avid golfer.
Rob Gaebe
He is a long time resident of San Marcos since 1990 and an Agriculture Teacher/FFA advisor for 28 years at San Marcos High School. He retired after 35 years in education. His wife is Sheila Morris and his son, Matthew is a recent graduate from Cal Poly-San Luis Obisbo; Matt will be working in Southern California as a construction manager/engineer. Rob received his Bachelor of Science in Ag. Education and Agriculture Economics from University of Nebraska, Lincoln then completed his Masters in Education/Curriculum at Montana State University, Bozeman, Montana. He’s a letter winner for his competitive efforts in football and rodeo at U. of Nebraska. Currently, he is serving/volunteering for his community and SMUSD schools on numerous committees, including San Marcos Education Foundation, LSM Kiwanis scholarship and program committee, SD Farm Bureau Gardens for every school, San Marcos and Escondido Career and Technical Education Advisory Committees, San Diego County Agriculture in the Classroom, Meals on Wheels, Mesa College Veterinary Tech/Animal Health Advisory Committee, and more.
Linda Alden
Linda has loved her career as a Registered Nurse. Prior to retirement in 2011, Linda worked as an RN for 44 years. She cared for patients on medical and surgical floors, psychiatric Hospitals as well as Oncology nursing. Her last ten years of nursing focused on Patient Advocacy, assisting cancer patients with receiving a second option for a center of excellence regarding their ongoing plan of care. Linda is active in The Kiwanis Club of Lake San Marcos and P.E.O. a U.S. based international women's organization of about 230,000 members, with a primary focus on providing educational opportunities for female students worldwide. Linda lives with her husband Jim in Lake San Marcos and has three wonderful grandchildren with whom she enjoys making memories.
Jim Alden
Jim has over 50 years’ experience in the securities industry.
Jim began his career 1967 working for The Bank of America’s Corporate Trust/Mutual Funds operation in Los Angeles, California. He served as Assistant Cashier and Manager of their Mutual Funds Department.
In 1970 Jim was hired by The Southern California Edison as Assistant Secretary and Manager for Edison’s in-house transfer agent and registrar services. He worked for Edison for 30 years and retired in 2000.
In 2000, Jim assumed the role of Director, Shareholder Services for The Walt Disney Company. At Walt Disney, Jim was responsible for managing a retail shareholder base of over one million shareholders.
He currently sits on the Board of Directors of The Lake San Marcos Community Association and serves as Secretary Treasurer of the organization. He is also active in The Kiwanis Club of Lake San Marcos where he has served as President of the organization.
He graduated from Woodbury College earning a BS degree in business administration. He resides with his wife Linda in Lake San Marcos.
Tiffany Campbell
Tiffany has been an educator for nearly three decades serving students as a classroom teacher,
instructional coach, school site leader, and district office administrator. She has Bachelors and Masters
degrees in English Literature and Education from the University of New Orleans and National University,
and earned her Ed.D. from the University of California, San Diego. While she has worked in a number of
diverse settings including the city of New Orleans and rural Seguin, Texas, she has spent most of her
working career in Southern California serving as an English teacher at Muirlands Middle School; English
AVID, and Journalism teacher at La Jolla High School; and English and AVID teacher at Murrieta High
School. She has been in San Marcos Unified for 18 years where she was privileged to serve as principal
of San Marcos Middle School and San Marcos High School before moving to administrative roles at the
district office. She currently serves as Deputy Superintendent overseeing Educational Services for the
district’s elementary and secondary schools. When not working to meet the needs of SMUSD students,
she most values spending time with her husband of two decades and being a proud (and annoying)
mom of her own San Marcos High Knight.
Christi Frias
Christi Frias has spent over 15 years in the field of education. In that time she has served as an English teacher, intervention teacher, outreach consultant, teacher on special assignment, and school site and district level administrator. Christi joined the San Marcos Unified School District in 2021 as the Director of Student Services where she works closely with administrators and other district staff to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
She has a B.A. in Communications from California State University, Fullerton and a M.A. in Education from Azusa Pacific University.
She and her husband, Omar, live in Escondido, CA with their three children.
